Dafydd Prys

Dafydd Prys started working for Planet in the summer of 2003. He earned his degree in Theatre Anthropology. A keen film enthusiast, he enjoys writing and directing the occasional short-film and wastes many hours discussing his favourite films. Unfortunately, he is yet to be spotted for his talents. He writes articles and reviews for different small magazines as well as writing short stories and plays. He also likes fooling about on his guitar, while his literary interests lie in the Russian, American and English classics.

Emily Trahair joined Planet in 2006. She has a background in international politics having completed a masters in Postcolonial Politics at the University of Wales Aberystwyth. She also has an interest in the incorporation of literary techniques into political writing. She has written a paper for a graduate colloquium on critical politics on the subject of dilemmas arising from empathy and solidarity within protest politics and is currently trying to translate these ideas into fiction. Having been to art school she also enjoys collage-making, drawing and installation.
